    The inaugural Maya Angelou International Women's Health Summit, scheduled for September 27-29 2012, seeks to create connectivity across the world to discuss and advance shared interests and concerns about women's health.

    Sponsored by the Maya Angelou Center for Women's Health and Wellness, this solution-driven annual conference will create conversations about contemporary issues affecting  women's and girl's health. National and international participants plan to spend two and one-half days in dialogue, planning and networking in response to keynote and panel presentations.

Celebration

Evening Celebration of Women

In addition to international fellowship, the Evening Celebration of Women, scheduled for 7:00 PM on September 29, 2012, will raise funds for the Maya Angelou Center for Women's Health and Wellness. The funds raised are for many programs including: health and wellness programs for adolescent girls, women's preventative care testing and community health outreach for underprivileged women and girls.
